The Ingredients

I was born in Mumbai, India to a home filled with Goan heritage. I was very creative growing up and was fascinated by recipes from different cuisines. I was always a foodie and enjoyed recreating dishes from my favourite restaurants. After completing high school at St. Joseph’s in Bandra, Mumbai I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.

My Batter Half

At the age of 16, I met Cornell at University, and since then he has never failed to put a smile on my face. After a decade of dating, Cornell went down on one knee and we had our dream wedding surrounded by family and friends. We began our journey together in India and then transitioned our lives to Toronto, Canada, where we currently live. Cornell and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and I couldn’t imagine a better person to share my life with.

Two Cakes In The Oven!

After a few years of marriage, Cornell and I were blessed with Shannon, the cutest, rosy-cheeked baby, who has now has grown up into my mini-me. Brandon joined the party two years later on Shannon’s second birthday. As a stay-at-home mom, my kids have been my world and I am very proud of the young adults they have grown up to be.

Icing On The Cake

My passion for cooking started with baking when I was in my teens. I would prepare Christmas sweets with my mom and sisters for our family, friends and neighbours. Later I started my own baking business called Truffles & More. I baked boutique cakes and prepared my famous brownies and desserts for clients. My business was rapidly growing prior to our move to Canada. Today, I am excited to continue sharing my favourite recipes on YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. Each of my recipes is meticulously tried and tested and include cuisines from around the world!
