Description
This creamy, crunchy Coleslaw is going to be the best you’ve ever tasted! This Coleslaw is the perfect salad to pair with a hearty meal. For a little fall twist, we tossed in some apple, cranberries and almonds, but you can customize this as you like!
Ingredients
For The Salad
- ½ large (or 1 medium) Cabbage
- 1 Carrot
- ¼ small Sweet White Onion
- 1 Apple
- ⅓ cup Dried Cranberries
- ¼ cup Chopped Almonds
For The Dressing
- 1 cup Mayo
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- ½ tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp White Granulated Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Method
Cut the cabbage, julienne the carrots and toss them into a bowl. Dice the onion very fine and add it in. For a fall twist, julienne the apple and add it in along with the dried cranberries and chopped almonds. In a separate bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dressing and then pour it into the bowl with the salad. Give it a mix till the dressing coats all the salad. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the coleslaw for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight so that the cabbage and carrots absorb all the flavours.
